Pleasant

Very accessible to Centrio Mall, Gaisano Mall

There's no available trash bin, no available table and chair. I requested the front desk officer but the hotel that day was fully occupied. I sent an email to them like a week ago as I made a request, but I'm too sad they didn't answer my email for a particular request.

Very near to malls, Gaisano and Centrio

The aircon in my assigned room is so very loud and the noise interferes my sleep. I think it's because the aircon is no longer maintained.

An Honest Comment

I like the location of the hotel because it was very near from the mall. I also like the way of access to their rooms since it has an elevator and the space of room for single deluxe is breathable, not suffocating for claustrophobic person

I don't like the outdated television. It is not a smart flat screen tv which is more convenient and likes of the occupants to watch especially if it is connected to the internet. the room is not that clean, i have seen used towel in the bathroom and the faucet is very disturbing to a person need to rest because its making a loud sound. Staff is not doing what they need to do, when i have a complain about no trash can in the room and disturbing faucet, they promised to bring one and check the faucet on my room but no action until i checked out

Budget friendly and that's it.

Price is really good and the location is great.

I sent a message to the hotel asking for an extra bed through booking.com but didn't get a reply. My mistake was not following it up. When we got there to check in, I was told that they don't allow so I had to book a new room for 1 more person. Had I known beforehand, i could have gotten a different room or make arrangements for all of us.. They should mention important things like this when booking or should inform the customer when they send the confirmation email.

I didnt have the croissant. yeah the bed is quite comfy

The comfort room is dirty - it needs some renovations; same with the pail, sink and "tabo" needed to be changed

The lobby is spacious and the ambiance is relaxing.

The TV is not functional and very old. The toilet room is dirty especially the water from flushing. There were worms coming out during flushing and rerains at the tiolet bowl. If you use the tiolet bowl, very uncomfortable because you would think that worms will move reaching your butt..A bit disgusting.

It is within the city proper & accessible to most malls. But if you need to stay for more than 1 night, stay somewhere else in CDO!

Bedsheet & pillows were not changed/replaced between old & new occupants. They were only sprayed with fragrance...BEWARE! They dont provide towels...aircon is dirty..!

Zimmer Klein, Toilette be dingy benutzbar, Anliegende Waschküche zu laut und Geruchsbelästigend. Wollte ein Tag meinen Aufenthalt verkürzen und dafür in 4 Wochen wieder eine Nacht im GV belegen, aber das ging an der Reception nicht und Booking Com war wieder einmal nicht erreichbar trotz mehreren Versuchen. Kurz gesagt nahe an einem totalen Flop.

Just across the road from entertainment are, so good if you want to party!

Didnt like the negative tone of signs stating only guests and friends on furniture, it didnt convey a hospitality welcome to me, just a little too demanding could have been written better, also the desk staff didnt smile or was welcoming, maybe she had other stuff on her mind, but you expect first immpresions are a lot, dont you think ? I tipped the two young girls at Camiguan GV Hotel, a few days later,why ? they both had smiles on their faces they made you feel welcome, not rocket science, you should pay me to be a critic of your hotels ? am not working and would relish that job ! ha ha , eric

We always stay here for the night when there is said to be a typhoon hitting the city. If we feel we needed to evacuate from our place, GV Hotel will be our refuge. It was in here we stayed for a night during the typhoon Pablo in 2012 and it was still here we stayed when typhoon Vinta was said to hit Cagayan de Oro in December 2017. GV Hotel is a good place to stay - it is inexpensive, the place is clean, the staff are so friendly and accommodating. It is located close to malls, convenient stores and restaurants. You don't need to go far, you can just take a walk to go to these places.

No phone in the room. When you needed anything, you have to go down to the ground floor to see the reception.Tiring.
